We are seeking a HTML/CSS Designer who can hit the ground running in a high-volume environment with rapid turnaround times. Emmis Interactive services some of the top media outlets in the country - including the two biggest Hip Hop stations in America, Hot97 (New York) and Power106 (Los Angeles), as well as Chicago's top Rock stations, Q101 and The Loop. In addition, we design and produce interactive projects for many top name brands. Most recently, we've completed interactive design work for brands such as Puma, Ford, Brand Jordan and Fox Television.
The ideal candidate will be proficient with HTML, CSS, and Photoshop. Experience producing web sites with cross-browser HTML & CSS is necessary. Candidates should have a good grasp and experience with layout, hierarchy, and user interface design. Knowledge of Javascript is a plus.
Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and have web design experience with a hip design sensibility. A knack for layout, information design, creative problem solving and user-centered focus is a must. Candidates must have experience with design and production for the web and be able to take a task and run with it.
